A new shop has opened in Market Rasen, much to the delight of the younger members of the community in particular.

Odds & Sodds at 1b Union Street opened this week, with a range of children’s toys and Christmas items.

“Before I took the shop on, I asked people what they wanted and toys was one of the things mentioned,” said owner Noel Watling.

But toys won’t be the only thing on sale at the shop.

The range of items for sale will be changing throughout the year, taking in seasonal items and budget items as they become available.

The one thing that won’t change, according to Noel, is the competitively priced aspect of the items that will be on sale in the shop.

Having spent the past 25 years in the retail trade and still running internet based businesses, Noel said he has made the move to Market Rasen to take advantage of the ‘more peaceful atmosphere’ the area offers.

“I am looking forward to welcoming customers of all ages to the shop,” added Noel.

Odds & Sods will be open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.

“I am also planning to open on Sundays” added Noel.
