The team at The Advocate Arms are celebrating receipt of their first AA Rosette for fine food.

According to the AA, these coveted awards represent “standards that stand out in their local area for food prepared with care, understanding and skill.”

The AA Rosette sees the Advocate joining a select handful of Lincolnshire hotels, restaurants and pubs to earn recognition for providing a consistent, high quality dining experience.

The news was received last week, following a visit from a ‘mystery diner’ from the AA who announced themselves upon departure after an evening meal and overnight stay.

Owner Darren Lince, Manager Dominic Jeffreys and Head Chef Matt Horsefield are all delighted with the result.

Already having an AA 5 star rating for accommodation, The Advocate is no stranger to recognition and is busy building a reputation for outstanding quality that caters to the needs of local people as well as visitors from further afield.

Owner, Darren said: “We’re working hard to create cuisine and a dining experience that is contemporary, stylish and relevant to all kinds of customers.”

He added: “We applied to be considered for a Rosette.

“But the AA don’t advise you of when they’ll visit, so it’s a credit to the team who take care of customers day in day out, that we’ve been successful.”

The Advocate Arms is open for breakfasts, lunches and dinners throughout the week.

The Advocate team recommend first timers try the fixed price Monday night menu, but A la Carte dining is available daily from 6.30pm except Sundays, when you can treat yourself and your family to a fabulous Sunday lunch.
