A Market Rasen optician has taken part in an event to to help give the commercial heart of the town a boost and encourage residents to support their local shops and businesses.

N & EP Greenwood took part in Sight Care’s ‘community opticians’ week’ aimed at encouraging people to visit their local optician - and while in town be persuaded to spend their money in the local shops and businesses.

The team hosted an open day to encourage 
consumers back to the local community while also raising money for children’s charity NSPCC.

Competitions were held including a children’s specs spy hunt in local shop windows, which was won by Orla and Ione Browne. The ‘guess how many specs in the jar’ competition was won by Zoe Richardson. All winners were given a new pair of sunglasses.
