Fab free draw and family fun at farmers’ market

A FANTASTIC fudge stall is the latest addition to the popular Caistor Farmers’ Market on
August 11.

And the sweet treat is just in time for the family fun day events taking place this Saturday.

Free pony rides and face painting will add to the atmosphere at the monthly market.

There will also be buskers around the Market Place to entertain the crowds.

As always there will be a host of stalls selling a range of top quality local produce.

And this month, there is a fantastic free draw to take part in.

Just spend £5 at any of the stalls and you will be automatically entered into the free draw to win a magnificent hamper of goodies from the selection of stalls at this month’s market.

“We try and make each month’s market a little bit different,” said town clerk Helen Pitman.

“This month’s free draw and family based activities will hopefully prove popular, and with the seasonal changes to the market stalls, there is always some new tasty local produce to try out.”

Caistor Farmers’ Market starts at 9am and runs until 1pm.

And once you have done your shopping, why not sit and watch the world go by at the Settlement cafe, situated right on the market square.

Or pick up one of the Sustainable Caistor nature trail leaflets - available from the Post Office or The Settlement - and go for a wander.

For more information on the market, contact Helen Pitman on 01472 851679 or email hs.pitman@tiscali.co.uk
