The new Star Wars film may be the current buzz in the movie world, but one Caistor business has had a premiere of its own.
Award winning print management company Systematic is well known for its creative calendars and this year the creative team has gone to the movies.
However, the production of the calendar was not so much red carpet, as green screen, with the clever team in Systematic’s Creative Studio showcasing their talents by editing photographs of their colleagues wearing appropriate costumes, to create 14 images meticulously close to original film posters.
Many creative hours were invested in the project, which even saw team members go to Madam Tussauds in London to take photos of wax figures featured in the calendar.
In addition to the Star Wars theme in May, the team has also featured Trainspotting, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Home Alone!
“We’ve had a busy 12 months during our 40th trading year and this has been a great way for the team to have some fun, get creative and showcase their design talents,” said managing director Chris Robey.
“The calendar is another way for our contacts to get to know us, although I’d like to say, on the record, that contrary to the front cover, I am not a twin to Business Development Manager Paul.
“If any clients, associates and fellow businesses have a wall that needs an injection of humour and Systematic style they are invited to get in touch for one of the limited edition calendars.”
