50 new jobs set for Market Rasen?

INCREASED demand for home care could see dozens of jobs being created in Market Rasen.

Hica At Home is recruiting 50 people now to support people in their own homes in Market Rasen, Lincoln, Louth and surrounding areas as care support workers with a specialist interest in promoting independence and well-being.

“People are living longer and there is a continued drive to enable people to enjoy a better quality of life through supporting them to live more independently and remain in their own homes for as long as possible,” said Penni Brown, Hica At Home managing director.

“As a not-for-profit organisation, we are driven by a different ethos to private agencies and the quality of Hica’s service is very much reflected by this.”

The new recruits will support residents with activities such as preparing meals, shopping, paying bills, assisting with medication and helping with personal care.

A further 50 staff will be recruited during the next six months.
