Brigg people remembered their war dead at a parade and service in the town.

The parade assembled in Station Road before being led by the Air Training Corps Band to St John’s Church for the Service of Remembrance.

Heading up the parade were members of the Royal British Legion Brigg Branch, followed by the Town Council and local organisations.

The Service of Remembrance was led by Vicar of Brigg Father Owain Mitchell.

The parade reassembled to march to the war memorial. The two minute silence was observed before the laying of wreaths, led by veterans, Brigg MP Andrew Percy and Town Mayor James Truepenny.

Wreaths were also laid by representatives of local organisations and the Last Post was played by Stephen Healey.
