Little ones attending the regular Tuesday storytime session at Market Rasen Library welcomed a special visitor last week.
Barnabas Bear went along to say hello much to the delight of them all.
He was at the library with St Barnabas Hospice community fundraiser Caroline Swindin, who is continuing her series of events to raise awareness of and funds for the Hospice.
Visitors to the library could indulge in a delicious strawberry cream tea as well as trying their hand on the tombola and lucky number board.
The event was the first of three taking pace at the library, with the next on Tuesday, June 4.
Also that week, there will be a chance to look at Forgotten Market Rasen with Rase Heritage Society, who will be leading a walk around the town on Friday, June 7, leaving the library at 1.30pm.
The walk will last about 60 to 90 minutes and end with refreshments back at the library, where there will be a chance to look through heritage information and view items from the Society’s collection.
Places on the walk are limited and need to be reserved with Caroline on 07435 970309 and the suggested donation to St Barnabas is £3.
On Saturday, June 8, there will be a craft and gift fair in the Festival Hall from 10am to 2pm and for animal lovers there is a ladies lunch at Market Rasen Golf Club on June 11, with guest speaker Gill Tuxworth - super nanny for dogs.
Tickets £20 from Caroline.
