LINCOLNSHIRE’S agricultural chaplain, the Rev Canon Alan Robson has received been honoured with a Fellowship of the Royal Agricultural Societies.
The fellowship recognises outstanding contributions to agricultural and rural progress.
And this is not the first honour bestowed on the Wragby Methodist Minister; last year, the Rev Robson was named Rural Hero in the Countryside Alliance Awards.
Lincolnshire Showground’s Epic Centre was also his brainchild.
“It was with some surprise, but with a real sense of gratefulness, that recognition from my peers was acknowledged and indeed celebrated at this prestigious event,” said the Rev Robson.
“The possibility of new friendships and having access to such a range of food industry knowledge and influence is an honour.
“Once again, this highlights the privilege of being in a chaplaincy role and how we are affirmed and appreciated in the wider economy of God’s Kingdom.”
