It’s from the West End of London to Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre for trained chef Penny Finley, 48, as she takes over next month as full-time Café Manager.

Mum-of-three Penny moved to Caistor with her husband and children four years ago and initially volunteered at the centre for 12 hours a week.

She has played a major role in getting The Pudding club established and has made a lot of the cakes that are the favourites of the customers.

Penny began her career as a chef many years ago working in London and says her previous diners included Prime Minister John Major and the author and poet Will Self.
