A MARKET Rasen teenager had her seasonal stay in hospital brightened by a visit from members of the Lincoln City football squad.
Alice Rice from Churchill Avenue was delighted when the City management team and players paid a surprise visit to the children’s wards at Lincoln County Hospital.
The football-mad 14-year-old, who is under going treatment for Ewins Atkins Sarcoma, is a proud supporter of the Red Imps, as well as the other reds, Liverpool.
The team manager and players put smiles on the faces of patients, parents and staff as they made their rounds, handing out festive treats which had been kindly donated by Lincolnshire Co-op.
