Primary School youngsters get their first taste of democracy.

PUPILS at Market Rasen Primary School have been exercising their right of democracy by electing members to the School Council from amongst their number.
The Mayor of Market Rasen, Coun Burt Keimach, went along to hear the results being announced by head teacher Paul Thompson, and to congratulate the youngsters on their first use of the democratic process.


The new members of the council include Zak Dimmock (Chairperson), Spencer Holvey (Vice chair), Emma Hildred (Treasurer), Juliet Haley (Secretary), Carly Roe, Jade Paul, Jake Parker, Holly Tennant, Joshua Dresser, Jade Pannell, Nicholas Cowdroy, Sian Bontoft, Joshua Richards, Holly Richards, Joshua Wade, Rebecca Yull and Kyle Friend
