IT IS expected that an announcement on the future of Market Rasen's swimming pool project will be made on Monday.
Although the Rasen Mail was previously told that an update on the expanded proposals for the pool would be presented to the full meeting of West Lindsey District Council on Monday, December 1, the item does not feature on the agenda.

As reported the latest proposal is for the council to invest its £5m for a pool as the centre piece of a larger leisure complex at the racecourse. If that project falls through it is committed to its fall-back option and delivering a stand alone pool in Market Rasen.

See www.marketrasenmail.co.uk for any updates in this subject.
