Wednesday, 11.30am: BRIGG'S Methodist Minister, Rev Janet Magee has pleaded not guilty to a charge of perverting the course of justice.
Mrs Magee of St James Road, Brigg appeared at Grimsby Crown Court to enter her plea.

She faces an allegation that she falsely represented she received a series of telephone calls and threatening letters of an abusive nature. This led to a lengthy police inquiry and the arrest of a third party, it is alleged.

The case is now set to go to trial in October.
