LOCAL firm RPC in Market Rasen has reached a significant milestone, achieving £1 million in sales during a calendar month for the first time in its history.
Based in Gallamore Lane, RPC Market Rasen is part of the internationally renowned RPC Group, Europe's leading supplier of rigid plastics packaging. The site specialises in providing bespoke packaging solutions for a wide variety of markets, with particular expertise in healthcare.

The £1 million target was reached in October and has been fuelled by significant growth over the past year, including the commencement of several lucrative new projects.

Bruce Margetts, general manager of RPC Market Rasen, said: "We're bucking the trend by growing sales in the current economic climate thanks to careful management and the tireless efforts of our employees.

"Profits are harder to come by as 2008 has seen massive hikes in raw material and energy costs, but this milestone proves that manufacturing can still succeed through innovation and hard work."
