YOUNG people in Market Rasen have new activities to look forward to, starting this Friday,May 16.
Over ten weeks the Friday Night Project will let 13 to 19 year olds try their hand at DJing and mixing. Bands could be formed and there will be rock and pop sessions. In addition to the music there's also chance to make a film about the town.

All activities are free between 7pm and 9pm. Meet in the Festival Hall car park and be sure to be there early as places are limited. Free food this Friday.
Musicians may take their own instruments but there will be equipment there to use.

West Lindsey's arts co-ordinator Dawn Harris said, "The need for somewhere for people to mix and have fun was identified some time ago and now the council has agreed £5,000 to allow this to happen."

Community Beat Manager Rob Graves, Community Support Officers and people from the Foyer and De Aston School are also involved.
