MARKET Rasen Rotarians found that the sun shone on the righteous when despite a wet weekend they stayed dry enough to rustle up in excess of £1,500 for the children's hospice from bikers at Willingham Woods.
The group of seven Rasen Rotarians were helping to collect for the St Andrew’s Hospice at the charity’s annual motorbike tour of Lincolnshire.

Some 110 motorcyclists met at Willingham Woods, as many of them often do, and then departed on a tour of Lincolnshire taking in the George and Dragon at Hagworthingham, The Highwayman at Skegness and The Splash at Little Cawthorpe.

According to the group assisting with the start of the event said the riders’ generosity was tremendous, with a collection being made of just in excess of £1,500.00 for the Children’s Hospice funds.
