There were a record number of entries, with a varied example of springtime flowers and bulbs, for this year’s Caistor in Bloom Spring Garden competition.

And the judges awarded first place to Russ and Carin
Tattershall for their lovely woodland garden. They received a ceramic plaque as well as a £15 voucher from competition sponsors Carr Lane Nurseries of Stallingborough.
In second place, and receiving a £10 voucher, were Gwen and Peter Thompson, whose seasonal garden was immaculately well manicured. Third place went to the spring wild garden of Harry Minns, for the unusual and interesting area he has kept for many years. Harry received a £5 voucher.
