THE WALLED Garden at Panton, home of David and Jenny Eckford, opens for the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday, June 5.
This atmospheric two-acre 18th century walled garden in a woodland setting has been rescued from dereliction and lovingly restored by the present owners over the past eight years.
There is only limited wheelchair access due to the varying levels of gravel.
The garden, which can be found off the Benniworth to Panton road, will be open as part of the National Gardens Scheme from 11am to 5pm.
Admission is £3 (children free) and there will also be home-made teas and plants for sale.
