Following on from last year’s success, Market Rasen Air Cadet Sergeant Calum Dowse has retained the Trent Wing Modelling trophy he won last year.

The competition involved the production of a diorama and individual model depicting the De Havilland Chipmunk, for many years the mainstay of the Air Cadet flight training fleet.

In addition to the modelling success, cadets from Market Rasen managed to win the Aircraft Recognition competition to complete an excellent day and the cadets will now go on to represent Trent wing and compete against other units from central and eastern England.
