Around 500 runners are expected to take part in the Lincolnshire Wolds Tough 10 on Saturday, August 30.
The 10-mile event, in conjunction with Wolds Veteran Runners Club, starts at 10am from Cuxwold Road in Swallow and finishes at The Swallow Inn.
This is the 32nd year the now well-established race has taken place and new for 2014 is the introduction of chip timing.
And all runners will receive a technical t-shirt for completing the race, as well as a much needed hot sandwich afterwards in the pub, which is also Race HQ.
Car parking for the race is in a large field just off the A46 as you head into Swallow - there is no parking at the pub as this is used for the finish area.
