The funeral of Albert Edward Daniels, aged 89 years of Friesthorpe, took place in the parish church.

The service was conducted by the Rev Charles Patrick and funeral director was J Marshall of Market Rasen.

Albert (Ted) was born in East Retford.

He was an Under footman at Canwick Hall and worked as a farm labourer for almost 50 years,

He also served in the Home Guard.
