WI members from across the Northwold Group joined with members of Binbrook & District WI and local residents for a day of creativity.
Following on from a very successful evening visit last May, Karen Frosdick was invited back to Binbrook village hall to give people the opportunity to make an item of their own using the many different coloured and textured glass mosaic tiles available.
The 13 ladies who took up the challenge could choose to make coasters, place-mats or trivets from a range of designs.
Quiet descended as everybody became engrossed in their own projects.
And Karen was very impressed by the level of creativity shown, with many ladies opting to produce pictorial scenes by nipping the glass tiles into random shapes instead of leaving them whole.
By early afternoon, after using a couple of hair driers to quickly dry the base glue, all the items were ready to be finished off using the different coloured grouts supplied.
But it was couple of days before the fully polished items could be shown off in all their glory.
The next adventure organised by the group is a day at the races in November.
