l West Wold U3A in the Festival Hall, 9.45am. Speaker: Margaret Dickinson – Life as an Author. Visitors or new members welcome.

l Rase Heritage Society meeting in Market Rasen Library, 7.30pm. Talk on researching family tree by Hazel Deighton of the Lincolnshire Family History Society.

l East Barkwith WI in the village hall, 7.30pm. Speaker: Robert Ferguson on Holistic Therapies. Visitors welcome.

Friday, July 13

l Country Market in the Salvation Army Hall, John Street, Market Rasen, from 9am-1pm.

l Limelight Theatre Group at Brookenby Theatre from 7.30pm. New members, aged 11 years upwards, welcome. Details Ann 01472 852952 or Martin 01673 849809.

l Charity country music night at Ludford Village Hall, 8pm. Live music with Country Contrast.

l Flower Festival and Art Exhibition at Middle Rasen Methodist Church, 10am-6pm.

l Summer Fete at Wragby Town Hall, 2pm-5pm. Proceeds to All Saints’ Church.

l Snitterby Field Fete in Mr Page’s paddock. Stalls and traditional games from 2.30pm.

l Family Bingo Session at Wragby Town Hall. Eyes down 7.30pm.

Sunday, July 15

l Market Rasen Roadrunners summer tractor run. Leaving Skinners Lane at 10am. Entry £10 per tractor. Also car boot, bygones display, auction and raffle. Proceeds to Lincoln Hospital Urology Unit. Details: 01673 844308 or 07860 791254.

l East Barkwith Village Fete in Foster’s Field, 2pm-6pm. Novelty dog show, terrier racing, stalls and games. Proceeds to village hall refurbishing fund.
