Village welcomes new library at hall

A NEW library has been officially opened in Broughton.

The mayor of North Lincolnshire Ivan Glover opened the library, which is at the village hall

It replaces the mobile library that was withdrawn on Thursday, September 20.

A single storey extension was built onto the village hall to make room for the new library and community facility.

Initially, it will be open 15 hours a week. But with help from more volunteers it can extend opening hours - call Janet Stopper on 01724 297790.
