A SPECIAL celebrity event is to take place this Saturday, October 6, in Kirton Lindsey Town Hall at 7.30pm, when Dr Jonathan Foyle will speak on Climbing Great Buldings.

Jonathan is an architectural historian, artist, chief executive of the World Monuments Fund Britain and visiting professor at Lincoln University.

He has written many scholarly articles and undertaken a range of media work, but came to a wider audience with his BBC2 series Climbing Great Buildings in 2010.

Tickets cost £6 (£5 concessions), to include a celebratory glass of wine, and are available from Martin on 01652 648435.
