LOVE poetry from across the world is the basis of an evening of entertainment in Binbrook Village Hall this month.

Not the Love Story I was Expecting – by the Helen Chadwick Group – is a concert of love songs threaded with unexpected, hilarious and sometimes disastrous love stories.

Performed by three women, the show includes body percussion, stepping patterns and witty choreography.

Words to the harmony songs include the love poetry of Persia, Russia and Chile.

Helen Chadwick is a highly regarded composer, and the group has performed song theatre across the world.

Suitable for those aged 13 and above, the concert takes place on Saturday, September 15, starting at 7.30pm.
