Look out Caistor - there is mayhem and adventure on the horizon this summer as an unruly bunch of school kids roll into town.

After the successful Caistor Amateur Theatrical Society (CATS) pantomime, Mother Goose, it is now time for the Young CATS to shine.

Young CATS is preparing for a new production of St Trinian’s and anyone aged between nine and 25 is being invited to go along and show off their talents - whether it is acting, singing or dancing - at the forthcoming auditions to become part of one of the most infamous schools around.

The story is centred at St Trinian’s - a school notorious for misadventure and mayhem where girl power rules.

However, they have to share their territory with the neighbouring boys’ school which is being refurbished due to a mysterious water leak.

The battle begins to see who can be the best at being bad.

Auditions are being held in Caistor Town Hall this Saturday, February 2, starting at 10.30am.

Performances of St Trinian’s will take place on August 16 and 17.

“This is an exciting opportunity for young people to develop their social and performance skills, make new friends and become part of a dynamic group for young people,” said director Patricia Redfearn
