Rotarians set charity riders on their way

MARKET Rasen Rotarians were on hand to help steward the start of the annual motorbike run in aid of St Andrews Childrens Hospice. The event saw 400 bikers congregate at Willingham Woods, with some 250 taking part in the run itself. Bikers paid �5 to join the road run, which Rotarians helped collect, and they then assisted in the task of seeing the bikers safely out on to the A631 to start their 68 mile journey. Organised by the Louth Group of Friends of the Childrens Hospice, the route visited The Red Lion at Redbourne, the Pub in the Wood, aka Nettleton Lodge, and finally the Royal Oak, aka The Splash at Little Cawthorpe.
