Revellers will chase away the blues

THE Piccadilly Revellers will be Chasing the Blues Away this Saturday, February 11, at Louth’s Riverhead Theatre.

Michael Laws brings his brand new Piccadilly Revellers Dance Orchestra to Louth for the very first time.

Drawn from the ranks of Michael’s world-famous Piccadilly Dance Orchestra, the six musicians of the Piccadilly Revellers, formerly 78RPM, will entertain the audience with the wonderfully jazzy and sophisticated popular music of the 1920s, 30s and 40s – from Gershwin and Cole Porter to Noel Coward.

Vocalist Catherine Sykes joins Michael, along with pianist Colin Good, Sandy Burnett on double-base, legendary jazz saxophonist Robert Fowler and Ben Twyford on drums.

The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12 from the box office on 01507 600350.
