Owner’s plea for return of stolen dog

A van with a pet dog inside has been stolen - and the owner is desperate for him to be returned.

It happened between 8pm and 10pm last night (Monday) in Willingham Road, Market Rasen.

Thieves entered a yard in the road and stole a silver Transit van, registration WGO 7XZO. The van had a 14-year-old yellow Labrador called Tank in the back. Tank has scars on his face, a callous on his left leg and he walks with a limp.

The owner has had the dog since he was a puppy and his desperate for him to be returned.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, or who sees this van anywhere, to call them immediately. They are also appealing for anyone who sees the dog, or who is offered it for sale, to get in touch.
