Night set to go with a bang

It is that time of year again where noise and colour fills the sky and we look forward to Market Rasen’s fireworks and bonfire night.

Organised by Market Rasen Round Table, this year’s event will be held at Market Rasen Racecourse on Monday November 5

The bonfire will be held in the car park opposite the racecourse and gates will open at 6.30pm.

The bonfire itself will be lit at 7pm before the fireworks display kicks off at 7.45pm.

All the traditional tasty treats such as hogroast and
toffee apples will be on offer,
as well as hot and cold drinks.

For the children, there will be glow bracelets and glow glasses for them to enjoy.

Entrance is paid on the gate, and is £4 for adults and £2 for children.

Once again, Caistor and District Lions club are organising a display in South Street Park, Caistor.

The date for the diary is Saturday November 3.

There will be a best dressed guy competition starting at 6.30pm followed by a junior displays, with no loud bangs, at 6.45pm.

The bonfire lighting takes place at 7pm with the main
display, subject to the bonfire dying down, beginning at 7.30pm.

Hotdogs, soup, hot and cold drinks, toffee apples and novelty glowing torches/rings/wands/etc will be for sale on the night South Street will be closed from late afternoon so look out for diversions.

Car Parking available at Caistor Yarborough School.

All of the money raised
by both events will go back to good causes and projects in
the Market Rasen and Caistor area.
