Can you dig it? is at Great Limber this week

A love song to Alan Titchmarsh, the world’s first rap battle between a gardener and a slug, and a performance on a cucumber trumpet.

These are just some of the delights at Great Limber Village Hall this Friday, March 22, when an evening of comedy and song about gardens, vegetables, Alan Titchmarsh and worms hits the stage.

Can you dig it? stars musical comedians - and real-life allotment holders - Jo Stephenson and Dan Woods, who delve into the mysterious and competitive arena of vegetables shows, tell the story of an evil pigeon called Derrick who takes over the world, and ask: John Innes – who is he?

The show, suitable for all ages, starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £8 and £5 from Limber Village Stores or 01469 569702.
