In-genie-ous show gets Players in a spin

Playgoers in a spin for this year's panto

Louth Playgoers panto season has arrived again, promising plenty of fun, laughter and song with the tale of Aladdin and his magic lamp.

Bursting with slapstick and comedy, this original and classic Oriental rags to riches tale is a show that needs lots of audience participation.

Just watch out for Widow Twankey’s unique methods of doing laundry, particularly with her faulty washing machine.

Written by Alan Frayn and directed by Peter Maddison, this is a fast paced, family show with something for everyone.

The pantomime runs from Friday, January 11, to Saturday, January 19, at Louth Riverhead Theatre, with curtain up at 7.30pm, and 2.30pm for the matinee.
