Get a brew for the crew at Caistor

SEA shanty singers and musical duo Richard and John will add a nautical feel to a fundraising event in Caistor this weekend.

Brew for the Crew in the town’s Heritage Centre this Saturday, August 25, will be raising money for the RNLI’s Caistor, Brigg and Market Rasen fundraising branch.

Go along between 2.30pm and 4.30pm to enjoy a cream tea for £4 or a full afternoon tea for £6.50, with profits going to the charity.

There will also be a souvenir stall, raffle and tombola.

And if that wasn’t enough, author and compiler of the Rhymes of the Ancient Mariner, Norman McConochie will be undertaking a book-signing session.

For more information and to book your tea call the Heritage Centre, at 28 Plough Hill, on 01472 851605.
