Bear-faced fun at family event
MAKING It to Howsham will be a bear necessity next Saturday, July 11, when there is much bear-themed activity on offer.
At 3pm in the village hall there are lots of bear-themed fun and games based around the chance to make your own bear.
It will be afun day for children who like bears, and adults are welcome, too.
Everyone gets a wishing star or heart for their bear along with its own personal birth certificate.
There will be a minimum suggested price for each activity to cover costs, with extra donations going to the park funds.
Then everyone can enjoy a picnic in the park with their bears, helped by local group The Fab Five.
