BARNETBY Silver Band are in concert this Saturday in the village hall.

They will be joined on the platform by Barnetby Junior Band; the concert, at the Silver Street venue, starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £5 and are available from Harold Blackey on 01652 680759. The concert is being promoted by Barnetby Central Bowls Club.

l Aviation Heritage North Lincs stage a weekend event this Saturday, October 13, and Sunday (14) from 10am-4pm. Details of events being staged at Waters Edge near Barton on Humber can be found at www.nlaviationheritage.com, or call 01652 631500.

l Barnetby Church Hall is the venue for a coffee morning in aid of Lindsey Lodge Hospice this Saturday from 10am-12 noon. Information from Libby on 01652 688316.
