A happy birthday to heritage centre
AN EXCITING year in the history of Caistor will be celebrated at a special event this Saturday, April 14.
Caistor Arts And Heritage Centre – The BIG Lottery funded project, which featured on BBC1’s Village SOS – will mark its first birthday with a day of celebration.
One year on from the launch of 28 Plough Hill, the centre will be hosting a day of fun, with a children’s entertainer, storytelling, poetry and craft workshops.
Centre manager Stephanie Dale said: ”We are looking forward to welcoming loyal customers and new visitors alike to the centre on the day.
“The birthday event is a chance to celebrate what has been achieved by so many people since the launch of the centre and look to the future with new plans.
“We are particularly keen to talk to any willing volunteers who would like to give their time and energies to the centre.
“We would benefit hugely from volunteers who want to be involved in administration, marketing, graphic design, gardening and maintenance among other projects.”
The birthday celebration will take place at 28 Plough Hill from 10am-5pm, so drop in at any time.
