CAISTOR Grammar School students take to the stage this month with the school edition of Les Miserables.

Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, this abridged version of this legendary musical recounts the struggle against adversity in 19th century France.

The cast features students from years eight to 13, who will be giving three performances - October 22 to 24 - in the town hall at 7pm.

Tickets are available from the school office, priced £6 for adults and £3 for concessions and children.
