Restored garden open

The walled garden at Panton is to be open in aid of the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday, June 10 and all are invited to go along and explore the delightful surroundings between 10am and 4pm.

Jenny and David Eckford have transformed what had been part of the garden at Panton Hall before it became a wilderness.

There will also be a selection of plants for sale, while the teas are being prepared and served by members and friends of the East Barkwith Village Church Committee in aid of the St Mary’s Church Restoration Fund.
