Helping out hedgehogs

Frank Pett was welcomed to the March meeting of Caistor WI, where he gave a passionate and informative talk entitled Hedgehogs in Trouble.

He also took along two rescued hedgehogs and spoke of how they are rehabilitated and released back into the wild when possible.

The competition for a hedgehog related item was won by Margaret Roach, with Judith Hewis second and Ann Timpson third.

Flower of the month was won by Linda Mason, with Joan Wright second and Jacquie Simmonds third.

The draw for the bursary was also made and this was won by Rachel Grainger, who can use the bursary towards an educational course of her choice.

At the next meeting, in the town hall on Thursday, April 3 at 7.30pm, the subject will be flowers from wet felt.

New members and visitors are always welcome - visitors’ fee £3.
