The Lincolnshire Group of the Hardy Plant Society celebrated its 25th anniversary at a garden party in Goltho Gardens.
The group was set up by a dedicated group of plant lovers, who nurtured it and watched it grow into the group it is today.
The first meeting had 34 members and at its peak, the group boasted 450 members.
Since then numbers have dropped, but 120 members went along to mark the group’s silver occasion.
The group’s first chairman was George Parker, who was unable to be at the garden party, so the honour of cutting the cake went to founder members Pam Tatam and Jill Walkington.
