Horticultural heaven hits Market Rasen next month, with the two-day Gardeners’ Market and Spring Fayre.

The Market Place and Festival Hall will be awash with stalls on Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2 from 9am to 4pm for the event organised by Market Rasen’s Lions Club.

And as well as the gardening, craft, food and charity stalls, there will be talks on both days, at 11.30am and 1.30pm, in the Festival Hall.

Gardening experts
Andrew Sankey and Steve Lovell will be covering such topics as Shakespeare’s Cottage Flowers, Perennials for Every
Season, Encouraging Wildlife in the Garden and Companion Planting.

Also on the Saturday, York musician Hugh Barwell will be playing his accordion in the Market Place from 10am to 2pm.
