Caistor Flower Club enjoyed its first evening meeting after a very successful July flower show.
Heather Shaw delighted everyone by taking them “Around the World in 90 minutes”, starting in Holland before travelling to the hot temperatures of Australia, with the warm colours of orange roses, gerbera and physalis.
She then moved on to a very colourful arrangement resembling the Mardi Gras, followed by a pure white arrangement for the ski slopes in Colorado and then the colour and glitz of Paris’s Moulin Rouge, before finally arriving back in England with a traditional arrangement in pink.
The club’s next meeting is on Wednesday October 8 and its a workshop, so take along your scissors and join in.
It starts at 7.30pm in Caistor Town Hall and guests are welcome - £5 entrance fee.
