Emergency stop for Wragby cubs

Wragby cubs were pictured getting out and about in the Rasen Mail of 1992.

The young explorers were visiting the newly-opened ambulance headquarters in Market Rasen.

They had a tour of the ambulance station and also got a good look inside an ambulance, where crew members were on hand to show them how the equipment worked.

The headquarters in Gallamore Lane had been opened a little while earlier.

Previously, it had been based on a shared site – built in 1962 at a cost of £5,500 – with the fire service in the town’s Linwood Road.
