Dispelling the myths about too many cooks ...

They say too many cooks spoil the broth, but that was not the case when girl guides from the Market Rasen division got together for a taste of the outdoor life in 1992.

Some 45 girls form Market Rasen, Middle Rasen, Keelby, Grasby, Barkwith and Spridlington spent a training day at The Oaks in Holton le Moor.

They cooked lunch ‘al fresco’, made pot bags and learned how to put up tents.

The event was in preparation for the International Poacher Camp that summer at Lincolnshire Showground.
