Cadets from Market Rasen joined others from Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire for the annual camp at RAF St Mawgan in Cornwall, the home of the Tri-Service Defence Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Extraction Training Organisation; Newquay Airport and the Cornwall Air Ambulance.

During the week they managed to visit the working sections of the station and experience life in the Royal Air Force.

They also visited RNAS Culdrose and a local aviation museum, as well as spending time swimming, surfing, body boarding, team building exercises and shooting during the week, to make it a memorable experience for the cadets.

They are all pictured in front of the Avro
Shackleton aircraft, which acts as an impressive gate guardian to RAF St Mawgan.
