A young St John Ambulance member has become a regional award winner.
Nine-year-old Paige Marshall from the Brigg Division Badger Unit travelled to Hull to take part in a day long event.
There were competitions in communication skills and team leadership, and Paige also gave a presentation on Bertie Badger.
At the end of the day she won the Badger of the Year Trophy for the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
District Officer for Badgers, Kelly Barnett, went along to the Brigg Division meeting at St Mary’s Catholic Church Hall to present Paige with her cup.
The Badgers group is aimed at children aged five to ten years of age.
Members take part in a lively programme, working towards their Super Badger Award, learning important first aid skills along the way.
For those aged ten to 18 years of age there are also cadet groups.
