Air Cadets from Market Rasen joined with those from Lincoln and Horncastle to visit the Battle of Britain Flight at RAF Coningsby and help at the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association open day.

The cadets were on car park duty to help with the smooth running of the event.

They had a great day and managed to look around the aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and witness the flying display, involving the Lancaster, Hurricane, Spitfire and Dakota.

Market Rasen ATC Squadron, for those aged 13 to 18, meets at the Waterloo Street HQ on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 7pm to 9.15pm
