19/11/08 - Bonfire night helps Children In Need

EDITOR - May I thank all the villagers of Claxby and Normanby who supported the bonfire on Saturday night.
Over 60 people attended and £70 was raised for the BBC Children in Need appeal.
Thanks also to Sara's Snax who provided a good range of food and beverages and to all the councillors and Mr Trevor Lyle without whose help the event would not have been possible.
